Guidelines for Parents

(For Students of CBSE Affiliated Schools)

General Expectations
  • Parents are partners in education and are expected to cooperate with the school in maintaining discipline, punctuality, and academic progress of their wards. 🤝
  • Students must come to school in the prescribed uniform with a neat appearance. 🎒
  • Parents should check the school diary daily for homework, notices, and teacher’s remarks. 📔
Attendance & Leave
  • 85% attendance is compulsory for promotion to the next class. 💯
  • Leave application must be submitted in writing; long absence requires prior permission from the Principal. ✍️
  • Absence on examination/test days will not be compensated.
Communication with School
  • Parents should attend PTA meetings regularly and actively participate in school programmes. 🗣️
  • Any concern must be communicated through the class teacher/diary; direct meeting with teachers is allowed only during scheduled hours.
  • Parents must promptly update the school regarding a change in address, phone number, or emergency contact. 📞
Academic Support at Home
  • Ensure that the child completes homework and revision on time. 📚
  • Provide a quiet and suitable study environment at home. 🏠
  • Parents should not do the child’s homework but may guide and encourage.
  • Limit screen time and encourage reading, sports, and hobbies. 🧘
Discipline & Behaviour
  • Ensure that your ward follows school rules and maintains respectful behaviour. ✨
  • Use of abusive language, bullying, or any form of indiscipline is unacceptable.
  • Mobile phones, smart watches with internet, or electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited in school. 📵
Safety & Health
  • Inform the school about any medical condition/allergy of the child with a doctor’s prescription. ⚕️
  • Parents should not send their ward to school if the child is suffering from a contagious illness. 😷
  • Provide healthy lunch and a water bottle; junk food and carbonated drinks are discouraged. 🍎
Transport Guidelines
  • Ensure punctuality at pick-up/drop points. ⏰
  • Students should use only authorized school transport; private unauthorized vans are strictly prohibited.
  • Nursery–II students will be handed over only to authorized guardians with Escort Cards. 🚸
Fees & Discontinuation
  • Fees must be paid on or before the due dates as per the school schedule. 💰
  • Delay in fee payment may attract a late fee/penalty as per school policy.
  • Transport/hostel/other facility fees must also be paid regularly.
Parents’ Conduct
  • Parents are expected to maintain decorum and show respect in all communications with teachers, staff, and school authorities. 🙏
  • Aggressive behaviour, inappropriate language, or interference in school administration will not be tolerated.
Partnership in Growth
  • Encourage your child to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. 🎨⚽
  • Motivate your ward to follow values of honesty, discipline, and responsibility.
  • Work with the school to develop not just academic skills, but also life skills and character. 🌱
Digital Etiquette
  • Parents must monitor the child’s online activities and ensure safe and limited use of internet/social media. 💻
  • Cyber safety rules issued by the school must be followed.
Environmental Responsibility
  • Students should avoid using single-use plastic in school. 🚫
  • Encourage eco-friendly practices like using cloth bags, steel bottles, and proper waste disposal. ♻️
Care of School Property
  • Students should respect school property. Any damage/loss caused will be recovered from parents. 🏫
Emergency Closure
  • The school may remain closed during strikes, natural calamities, or orders from authorities. ⚠️
  • Information regarding closure will be communicated through SMS, a notice on the website, or the official school app. 📱
